BoxingScene's 2024 Prospect of the Year, Ernesto "Tito" Mercado, will also be featured on the card. The 23-year-old junior welterweight (140lbs) from Pomona, California, has faced a string of unfortunate opponent withdrawals, but fans are eager to see him back in action. An opponent for Mercado has yet to be announced. This continues a trend of difficult matchups for Mercado, leaving some to question if opponents are actively avoiding him.
Adding local flavor and potentially boosting attendance at the 12,000-seat venue is Stockton's own Gabriel Flores Jnr. The resurgent lightweight contender, with a significant following in the region, will be making his fifth appearance in his hometown. Flores' inclusion is a strategic move to ensure a packed house, capitalizing on his local popularity.
Pacheco, currently boasting a 24-0 record with 18 knockouts, is looking to make this his third fight of the year. Both his previous bouts this year went the distance, showcasing his stamina and ability to perform under pressure. He secured a unanimous decision against the previously undefeated Steven Nelson on January 25th, also on DAZN, marking the first time he'd been extended past the 10th round.

His career, however, has been marked by some frustrating near-misses.
One notable instance is the cancellation of his scheduled IBF title eliminator against Christian Mbilli in May. Mbilli's promoter, Eye of the Tiger Management, pulled him from the fight, alleging that Sadjo's team violated the terms of the purse bid agreement that would have brought the fight to Paris. Instead of facing Mbilli, Sadjo went on to defeat Habib Ahmed by a third-round knockout in Equatorial Guinea.
